will be July 14 - 19 at
Camp Viola (Camp Viola Road, LaGrange, GA 30241)
Youth Camp Juliena is a week-long summer camp for kids ages 6-13 that are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
Through fun activities, campers form lasting friendships and acquire valuable leadership, team-building, social, and communication skills.
We are completely full for the 2024 season! Thank you to all who have registered. We will update this page when registration for 2025 is open again.
Our History
Eleanor Foshee and Pat Ford, 1992
When it was founded, Camp Juliena became the first summer program in Georgia for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing children. Today, Camp Juliena continues to inspire hundreds of campers each year with positive Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing role models (counselors) and equip them with valuable leadership, communication and social skills.
Eleanor Foshee and Pat Ford established Camp Juliena in 1992 as a way to promote meaningful social interaction among Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing children. While supportive of mainstream education for students with hearing loss, both women felt strongly about giving these students the opportunity to socialize exclusively with their Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing peers.

Support Camp Juliena
Donate to our Camper Scholarship
We believe that all Deaf and Hard of Hearing children deserve the opportunity to attend Camp Juliena and interact with other children like them.
In order to make this possible, we depend on donations to make our scholarship fund accessible to all children and families.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to support future campers. GCDHH is a non-profit and depends on generous donations from members of our community.
